A lot of time has passed since the premiere of MIUI 12, because this version of the Xiaomi's user interface appeared on the market in April 2020. This does not mean, however, that the Chinese company is not working on a new version of this specific version of Android. This is confirmed by the latest information provided by one of the Xiaomi's managers.
Based on the latest reports, it can be said that Xiaomi will release MIUI 13 in August this year. So far, however, we know practically nothing about this new Android user interface. Xiaomi has not even announced on which version of the system will be based MIUI 13. There is a chance that the new version of MIUI will be based on Android 11 due to the fact that Android 12 is still in beta tests phase. We can only assume that the new version of MIUI will appear on the market at the same time as the Mi Mix 4 phone and the premiere of both the system and the smartphone will take place at the same event in August this year.
