Xiaomi recently released official update of MIUI to the 8.2 version. In this upgrade we can see a lot of changes, but most important are improved layout of the notification shade, new system sounds, elimination of frozen screen problem after entering the Wi-Fi settings and system will do an antivirus scan automatically when we will install apps from other sources than Play Store.
For now company released this update for Mi Pad 2, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi 4i, Mi 3, Mi4, Mi Note, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G.
The owners of other devices made by Xiaomi won't have to wait long for an update because already on 20th February other smartphones will receive an update. Those phones are: Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note Prime, MI 2/2S, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Redmi 3/Prime and Redmi 3S/Prime.
