The first phone by Nothing appeared on the market last year. Ultimately, however, the equipment did not appear in all markets and the company resigned from releasing the Phone (1) in the United States, for example, due to differences in the supported mobile phone bands. Initial plans assume that the successor of this equipment, i.e. Nothing Phone (2), will go to the United States, which was emphasized by the company's CEO Carl Pei.

The upcoming Phone (2) is to cover all frequency bands of mobile operators in the United States, and the expansion of the company with new employees allowed Nothing to focus on entering new global markets. The company sees entering the US market as a big opportunity. Nothing products can be something interesting and unusual for customers in this country, who may already feel a bit bored with the rivalry of the two giants on the smartphone market.
