5G Internet standard is being developed already for some time, but it will be several good months before most of the equipment on the market will be adapted to it. The current 4G standard already allows for comfortable use of the network anywhere, and download speeds are really high. The OpenSignal company decided to conduct a test, which aimed to identify the brand of phones that offers the fastest download speed.
After as many as 117 billion data measurements using 23 million phones in 40 countries around the world, the company has come to interesting conclusions. The report indicates that in 14 countries Samsung's phones have achieved the highest download speeds. Australia and Russia are among the countries dominated by Samsung. The second place went to iPhones developed by Apple, which won the competition in 7 countries. In the remaining 19 countries, reports don't indicate a clear winner, and the speeds in phones of all producers were quite similar.
