We heard already a few weeks ago that Sony is working on a new VR set that will be supported by PlayStation 5. However, we did not know the details that will distinguish the new equipment. Ultimately, however, several dozen hours ago, Sony officially introduced new controllers that will work with the upcoming VR headset.
You can see the new pads in the pictures added to this news. In terms of their shape, it can be said that they resemble orbits. Sony itself ensures that the new controllers will be equipped with functions known from the DualSense pad. We are talking about support for haptic vibrations, adaptive triggers, but they will also receive additional areas that detect touch of fingers. In addition, both controllers will receive one analog and the standard buttons known from PlayStation pads will be placed on them. The left pad apart from the analog will receive buttons responsible for: triangle, square, L1, L2 and Create button. The rest of buttons will be placed on the right pad. So far, Sony hasn't announced when new pads will appear on the market.
