Initially, TikTok allowed its users to upload recordings lasting up to 1 minute. Over time, the company's directors decided that this limit should be increased. Finally, in July last year, this limit was increased to 3 minutes per shared video. This is not the end, however, because according to the latest reports, TikTok already allows some users to upload even longer recordings.
The owners of some accounts on TikTok received a notification that they can now upload recordings lasting up to 10 minutes to the platform. Analysts say this move is quite natural in terms of application development, as longer recording formats are easier to monetize and also hold the user's attention for a longer period of time. In addition, with the changes, TikTok is likely to offer more diverse content, thanks to which it will manage to reach an even wider audience.
