Reactions to messages are already commonplace in many messengers, led by Messenger created by Facebook, which made them popular all over the world. In the near future, the reactions may reach another messenger developed by the Meta company. It's about WhatsApp. Works on reactions in WhatsApp are ongoing, as evidenced by photos appearing on the Internet.
After installing the latest beta version of the app 2.21.24.8 on Android, users may notice new reaction feature. The operation of this function itself is almost identical to reactions for messages in Messenger. Initially, the owners did not expect to add such a feature to WhatsApp, but later, in the beta version of the iOS application, such a feature was already being tested. Now it's time for tests in an application dedicated to Android. So far, we do not know when the function will go to the stable version of the application.
