Fifth generation of wireless technology will offer around 10 times faster speeds of download than previous generation, and it's only matter of time when 5G will become standard technology for mobile operators. Creating a modem that supports 5G was the goal of all big companies, and ultimately the race was won by Samsung. This does not mean, however, that other companies do not develop their projects related to 5G, and the ideal example is Xiaomi. One of the company's directors, Donovan Sung, confirmed on his Twitter that the company had already conducted the first 5G data connection tests on device produced by their company.

Donovan on his profile uploaded photo of new upcoming Xiaomi's device - Mi Mix 3, and he asked his followers if they see anything interesting. After two hours he explained his thought. Chinese company successfully tested 5G data connections on phones produced by Xiaomi, and he officially confirmed that Xiaomi is ready for official premiere of 5G on market. On uploaded photo we can notice icon of 5G on status bar, so we can be sure that Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will support 5G data connections.
