The conflict between Apple and Qualcomm has been going on for some time and there is no indication that this conflict will end in the nearest future. This can be proved by, among other things, increased Qualcomm's activity aimed at obstructing the sale of smartphones produced by Apple. A few days ago Apple was banned from selling older iPhones in China. As a result, only the latest models from the Apple's portfolio, more specifically iPhone XR, the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, are to be officially available for purchase, but Apple confirmed that company has found a way to circumvent this ban, which according to company is unfounded.

We should recall that this ban results from an official court decision after two years of investigation into the unlawful use of Qualcomm's patents by Apple. The ban is going to be circumvented in a very simple way. Apple plans to release updates for its older devices, which will eliminate all Qualcomm's patents used in iOS. Update for older phones is scheduled for next week.
