Essential Phone is a device that has really outpaced the trends on the smartphone market. This phone was released as the first available phone with notch at the top of the screen, but despite the unusual design and regularly received system updates interest about this device wasn't impressing and finally phone did not sell in large quantities. Despite this, the company does not give up its plans and soon a new Essential smartphone called Essential GEM will probably appear on the market. Andy Rubin, CEO of Essential company and years ago the founder of Android system on his Twitter profile has unveiled a secret about the design of this phone. Admittedly, Essential shocks once again.
The new Essential's phone will stand out with a completely unusual display, which is extremely long compared to other smartphones. On the back of the device, in the upper part of the smartphone, there will be a fingerprint reader. What's easy to guess, it may be hard to use it in comfortable way due to unusual screen. Interestingly, based on the photographs we can also notice unusual interface of the system used in Essential GEM which may suggest that the phone will not work on Android. Opinions about this phone design among Internet users are divided, and time will show whether Essential GEM will be released on the market at all.
