Currently, most of applications debut on the market with a built-in dark theme, sometimes also called night mode. Google recommends developers to implement this option, because firm believes that this mode helps in saving batteries in smartphones, as evidenced by the announcement that Android Q may have the option of forcing the dark mode in all applications. Today on the Internet appeared some observations about the night mode at Messengeer. Facebook has introduced this option secretly - its launch is possible, but several conditions have to be met.

To enable a dark theme, firstly you have to update the application to the latest version, and then send emoji of moon in any conversation. After sending the appropriate emoticon, our screen will be "filled up" with moons, and then you just have to click on the previously sent moon. The application will inform you about unlocking the dark mode and about ongoing works to improve this feature. At the end, dark mode option will appear in the Messenger's settings.
