After months of waiting, the day has finally come when Google presented the specification of its new phone - Pixel 5a 5G. The new smartphone from Google brings several noteworthy improvements over last year's Pixel 4a.
The new Pixel 5a received a slightly larger, 6.34-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400x1080px. It is worth mentioning, however, that this screen only has a refresh rate of 60Hz. In addition, the phone received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal memory, a single 8MP front camera and a dual main camera consisting of 12MP and 16MP lenses. The big difference to the 4a model can be seen in the battery, as the new Pixel received a 4680mAh unit (the previous model had a 3885mAh battery). What's obvious, the new Pixel also got Android 11 in "vanilla" form, without any user interfaces. The phone also supports 5G connectivity. Smartphone is available for purchase for 449$. Shipment in the United States and Japan is scheduled to begin on 26th of August.
