The current economic situation on the market forces companies to change their employment structure. This also applies to the largest giants, as a result of which we have already experienced layoffs in companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Meta. It is no different with Google.

Google has decided to lay off about 12 000 employees around the world. This translated into about 6% of the workforce within the company. This is a reaction to the company's financial results and their prediction for the coming months, because despite the company's global revenue of 69 billion of dollars, the real profit decreased to 13.9 billion of dollars.
