Despite the fact that Huawei doesn't have to be afraid of sanctions from the US government for the time being, the Chinese company is still working on its own system called Hongmeng OS. Topic of this project was hot especially in June, when Huawei by sharing information about its own system wanted to show that firm is not dependent on Google at all. It seemed that after reaching an agreement with the American government, works on the system would be stopped, but none of these things. What's more, on the Internet appeared references to the potential first phone that would appear on the market with this system.
The first phone equipped with Hongmeng OS would be presented at the same time as the new devices from the Mate 30 series. Its price shouldn't be higher than 300 dollars, and the official event on which the smartphone will be presented will take place at the end of this year. Everything indicates that we will soon have an official premiere of the system itself, about which we should learn a lot more in the coming weeks. It is said that Hongmeng OS may be officially presented on 9th of August at the Huawei's conference in Dongguan.
