Facebook's tests of the Lite version of the Instagram app has been no secret for some time. Many users were eagerly anticipating the new version of the application, as the standard version in their opinion, is very overloaded with content and has some unnecessary functions. Facebook meets the expectations of customers and, after a long wait, officially presents Instagram Lite.
Instagram Lite is distinguished by a small amount of used phone memory. The application weighs only 2MB, but for this reason its functionality is significantly limited compared to the standard version. The authors deprived the Lite version of such functions as AR filters, shopping options or ornate animations. Of course, all the time users can use the key Instagram functions, like publication of photos and recordings in a standard form and in the form of Stories, but also users can exchange private messages. Instagram Lite is now available on the Google Play Store in over 170 countries. In the nearest future the application is going to be made available globally to all users around the world.
