Stories is one of the most popular sections on the Instagram platform. These are materials available in the application for 24 hours from moment of publication and they are not available directly on the user's profile, but only in the Stories section. At the moment, navigation in Stories allows you to move horizontally from one content to another, by clicking on one of the sides to change the recording or photo. In February 2021, Facebook, now known as Meta, announced that it is working on improving the Stories navigation and plans to add the ability to scroll content vertically.
The latest information on the Internet indicates that testing of this feature has already started. This is confirmed by short recordings posted by portal users. As you can see in the published recordings, navigating through Stories using vertical scrolling is a bit like interacting with recordings in the TikTok application. For now, however, this feature is still in the testing phase and it is not known whether it will eventually go to the Instagram application and, possibly, when its implementation by the manufacturer can be expected.
