A year ago, Qualcomm established official cooperation with one of the leading Formula 1 teams, Ferrari. This year, however, during the presentation of the new car of the team from Maranello, the Qualcomm logo on the vehicle was not noticed. The reason for this state of affairs turned out to be the fact that Qualcomm established cooperation with another Formula 1 team.
This time Qualcomm has signed a contract with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team. The Qualcomm and Snapdragon logos will be available on the back of the car. They will also be visible on the racing suits of the drivers and team employees. As part of the cooperation, Qualcomm is to help Mercedes in creating technology centers in the UK by using solutions developed so far, led by a series of Snapdragon processors.
