Although Samsung Galaxy S9 still isn't available on market, and Samsung even hadn't presented it we received first rumors about successor of this device - Samsung Galaxy S10. Yesterday company which is the biggest producer of processors for mobile market - Qualcomm - presented new wireless modem named X24 which will allow to to reach 2 Gbps 4G LTE download speeds. The first processor which will debut with this modem on market will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, and it looks that 855 model will be implemented to Samsung Galaxy S10.
However, at this moment we haven't received confirmation of this rumor, but it's highly probable because Samsung's long-term cooperation with Qualcomm is going very well, and probably in future still Samsung's devices will be the first phones on market with new processors produced by Qualcomm. X24 will be made on the 7nm node, and its mass production will start in 2019.
