Currently, Spotify users have two options when it comes to using the application. It is an option to use a free account, or they must purchase a Premium subscription to avoid ads or remove the limit of song changes. Spotify, however, is very serious about introducing a third option to its portal, which would be a slightly cheaper subscription than the currently available Premium.
The new subscription would be called Plus. According to information in the press, such a subscription would allow all restrictions to be lifted apart from the lack of advertising - users using the Plus option would still have to listen them between songs played. Spotify has confirmed that this option is being tested, but we do not know if it will ultimately reach a wide audience around the world. The potential subscription's price is also unknown.
