Many companies that have so far specialized mainly in creating smartphones will try to conquer the TV market during upcoming days. In the nearest future televisions manufactured by OnePlus, Xiaomi, Motorola and Nokia will appear on the market (or they have been already released), and we learned a bit about specification of the device produced by the last of mentioned above companies a few more hours ago.
Nokia TV will receive a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD screen, and device will work on Android Pie and it will receive preinstalled Google Play Store with applications. Users will have access to the new Intelligent Dimming technology responsible for displaying a deeper black color and better contrast. The TV has already been certified in India and at least initially Nokia TV will be limited in terms of sales to this one country. If Nokia TV succeeds in India, there is a chance that the idea will be shared to other countries.
