A few days ago, Apple released the official iOS update to 14.2 version. As standard, the Cupertino company has published a list of changes introduced by the update. It turns out, however, that with the introduction of the new version of the system to iPhones, Apple has also added an interesting change regarding calls via FaceTime.
After updating iOS to version 14.2, users have noticed that FaceTime received support for 1080p calls. Apple has not publicly announced the introduction of this feature, but it is certainly a pleasant surprise for users. FaceTime in 1080p is available to users with iPhone 8 or newer model from Apple, but then to be able to talk in 1080p you must use an internet connection via Wi-Fi. Having access to phone from the iPhone 12 series, users can make calls via FaceTime in 1080p both via Wi-Fi as well as using the 5G network.
