WhatsApp is one of the most popular applications when it comes to social media. This is an application that requires a smartphone connection to function properly, and this fact will likely be used by Facebook to improve WhatsApp's security. The company is slowly getting ready to implement the possibility of logging in to the application in the browser version by using a fingerprint.

Direct login to the application in the computer version would be possible on a very limited number of devices, as a small part of computers has access to the built-in fingerprint reader. So Facebook said that when logging in to the application, the user would have to use the fingerprint reader on the phone. If the phone confirms that the fingerprint is correct, the user will be automatically logged into WhatsApp on the computer.
