The option to add recordings to the watch queue has long been available on YouTube on the desktop version and on the variant for smart TVs. However, the company is working on adding it to the phone application, which is confirmed by the latest reports.
Until now, when using a mobile application, it was necessary to play movies manually or create a standard playlist. However, it was impossible to add recordings to the queue from the phone level, but this should change soon. The option of adding recordings to the queue is already being tested both in the Android application and also in the iOS system. The option in the test version is expected to be available until 28th of January 2023, and soon after that it will probably be added globally. For now, however, only people with active YouTube Premium subscription can use it.
