In the last few months in the United States, the government has started an intensified struggle aimed at removing Chinese companies connected with electronic market from their country. Problems with the sale of their devices for years has Xiaomi, and such companies as Huawei (accused of espionage and cooperation with the Chinese government) and ZTE aren't in better situation, and the last from companies mentioned above got into trouble - Department of Commerce informed that the company received ban for selling its products in the United States until the 13th of March in 2025.

The decision shouldn't shock anyone, because in 2017 ZTE received a penalty for the sale of its equipment to North Korea and Iran a few years ago, which was illegal in accordance with US law. The company confirmed that this situation happened in the past, and received a penalty of 1.19 billion of dollars and the company committed to dismiss all employees who participated in the deals. However, these people have stayed on their positions until today, by which the United States government imposed a trade ban on ZTE. This decision forces ZTE to change their plans, and firm will probably have to use Kirin processors in their new devices.
