Apple a few dozen days ago presented its new MacBooks, which for the first time received Apple's proprietary M1 processor. They boast a really good specification and are competitive with units developed by other companies. The company from Cupertino, however, does not intend to stop there. Soon, Apple in cooperation with TSMC wants to develop new processors that will be made in the 3nm process.
The latest Apple processors were made in the 5nm process, hence it would definitely be a qualitative leap in relation to the first proprietary processors. Press reports indicate that TSMC has already reached an agreement with Apple on this matter and mass production of this type of processors would start in 2022.
