The presentation of the new iPads is not all that Apple has prepared for its new conference. The company also introduced the previously announced locator called AirTag. The first rumors about this device appeared more than 2 years ago, but finally we received confirmed information about this equipment.

AirTag is a locator that, thanks to its small size, can be attached to everything, from keys to clothing items such as backpacks. AirTag uses Ultra-Wideband technology, which by communicating with a special application created by Apple will be able to indicate the location of the equipment. In addition, by using the camera, gyroscope and accelerometer on the phone, the application will lead the user to the attached AirTag, among others, through special noises and displaying specific instructions informing how the user should move to reach the locator. AirTag uses the U1 processor and meets the IP67 requirements for water and dust resistance. AirTags will be available for purchase for 29$, while Apple has also prepared a package of four AirTags for 99$.
