Most stores in countries around the world have been closed due to a COVID-19 disease pandemic. Companies known for the production of smartphones are not in a tragic situation, because it is still possible to organize online presentations and in the same way they can also sell its devices, but stationary outlets still bring great profits to producers, hence the good information for firms is fact that governments are gradually defrosting economy around the world. Austria and Australia are the first countries where Apple announced its entry after the break.
Tim Cook has already mentioned the announced reopening of stationary stores, but in this annunciation were no specific dates for re-entering the stationary market from Apple. We now know that stores in Austria are open from 5th of May, and stores in Austria will be opened from 7th of May. The American company was waiting for the movements of the governments of both countries that would allow for re-opening of stationary stores, and when such an opportunity arose, Apple quickly decided on this move. Importantly, Apple nevertheless encourages online shopping, and stores themselves are primarily intended to support customers and repair faulty devices. The reopening of stores in other countries will largely depend on the policies of specific governments.
