Spotify is still the most popular application on the music streaming market, but other services are increasingly marking their presence by comparing the achievements of individual companies. Apple Music service is developing particularly dynamically. Streaming developed by Apple differs, among other things, in the aspect of accessibility, as Spotify can be used for free under certain restrictions, including forcing the user to listen to advertisements. Apple Music is available for free for a limited period only, which will be reduced further in select markets.

Until now, Apple has provided users with the option of using Apple Music for three months for free before purchasing a subscription in one of the forms provided. In selected markets, which include the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Great Britain, this period will be reduced to one month. Apple has not yet anticipated changes in the prices of shared subscriptions, and even a new type of subscription has been added. It costs 4.99$ and as part of it, users get the option of operating Apple Music through the use of the Siri assistant. As part of such a subscription, however, users have limited access to the Apple Music library, because by purchasing this subscription it is impossible to use spatial sound or play the song in lossless quality. Importantly, the six-month trial period provided to users after purchasing selected Apple devices, such as AirPods or some Beats series devices, has not changed.
