During the pandemic, many producers decided to implement significant changes in working of communicators. Most of them concerned increasing the limits of people participating in one video call. However, some apps have received other changes as well. One of such applications is Messenger.

Facebook confirmed that it will be possible to share the phone's screen during a video call in the Messenger application. This option will appear in chats with one user, in group chats with up to 8 people, and in Rooms with up to 16 people. Using the new option, users will be able to show other members of the conversation exactly what they see on their phone screens. Over time, Facebook wants this option to work when talking with up to 50 people, but it will take some time to add this option to Messenger. The new feature will be available in the official Messenger app for both Android and iOS.
