Such a publishing cycle planned for 2021 greatly affects the availability of smartphones from the previous year, i.e. Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. It turns out that their availability will become more limited overnight, as Google is already talking about the end of production of both phones.
At the moment, Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 are completely sold out in the United States, and in other countries, Google is trying to sell off its stock of smartphones. Google company openly announces that after selling the currently owned units of these smartphones, their further production will not be launched, so if you are thinking about buying a Pixel 4a 5G or Pixel 5, this is the last chance. This is obviously a natural decision that will reduce competition for the Pixel 5a and the upcoming Pixel 6.
