So far, many companies have produced their electronic equipment in China. Currently, however, there is a trend of leaving China on the market, thanks to which enterprises diversify their production process. Google is doing the same, as it will transfer some of its smartphone production from China.
According to the latest information, Google is about to start production of its flagship phones in Vietnam. Initially, all Pixel 7 series phones were to be assembled in China, but Google wants to create some of the necessary components in Vietnam. One of the reasons is the continuing pandemic, which is especially hard on the people of China, because cities that are important to businesses are often closed for this reason. However, Google does not intend to completely abandon its Chinese factories. Branches in this country are likely to focus on creating the upcoming foldable smartphone from Google, which is expected to appear on the market in 2023.
