Currently, when users want to transfer their data to Android using a phone that supports iOS, they are forced to back up their data to Google Drive, where information such as contacts, calendars or photos are then stored. However, Google wants to facilitate the information portability process when migrating from iOS to Android. The latest reports indicate that work is underway on a special application that can be used to transfer data from iOS to Android.

The application is to be named "Data Restore Tool". Its use will be possible after connecting phones to the Wi-Fi network and entering the correct password. According to the mentions, the developed application may allow you to transfer contacts, SMS messages, but also applications. However, it has not yet been mentioned how this will be done, especially since not all applications are available both in the Play Store and in the AppStore.
