Streaming music seems to be an interesting market for many companies due to the high demand among customers. Several companies have tried their hand in this aspect, but in fact no one is able to make an equal fight with two potentates: Spotify and Apple Music. This situation isn't different with Google services that are used to stream music. We're talking about two applications: YouTube Music and Google Play Music.
A few hours ago on The Verge portal appeared information indicating the total number of subscribers of both Google's platforms. After summarizing, both platforms have 15 million of users. It is worth mentioning that this number also includes people who have used test versions or free versions for one of these two services. These numbers pale in comparison with the impressive Spotify's statistics. The Swedish portal has recently boasted that its database of customers using paid version of subscription has already exceeded 100 million users. This shows how difficult for Google may be fight for customers with other big companies.
