We are talking about the Pixel 6 series, which is to be presented this fall. The latest reports indicate that the Pixel 5a presented just now will probably be the last phone from the Pixel series to hit the market in a set with a charger.
Google announces that probably Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will appear on the market in sets without chargers attached to smartphones. So it would be another company that decided to take such a step. Earlier, companies such as Apple and Samsung made a similar decision. Google explains it in a similar way, saying that almost all customers on the market have access to USB-C chargers, hence adding them to sets with phones is pointless. That's the reason why it seems it is only a matter of time before other companies selling smartphones decide to take a similar step as Apple, Samsung and Google.
