Huawei strongly marks its position on the electronics market. It is already the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, and it is also a very important manufacturer of architecture supporting 5G connection. Huawei's President of Huawei Antenna Business Unit, Zhang Jiayi, said antennas are a key aspect of the 5G network, hence Huawei decided to develop a ground-breaking 5G-enabled antenna.
New antenna received the name CableFree. It is lighter than other antennas on market, which means that it can be installed without the need for a crane. This translates into cheaper installation and production costs. Huawei advertises CableFree as a unit which compared to other antennas offers more than 80% more power and the antenna is able to provide 20% more radiation, which translates into covering a larger area with 5G coverage. As you can see, the Huawei conflict with the US government didn't significantly affect the company's development and this is good news in the context of the development of 5G infrastructure in the world, because Huawei will probably be the supplier of antennas for most countries.
