5G solutions are future of mobile market, but it will take some time before this type of connection becomes a standard in smartphones. One of the 5G pioneers on the market was the Chinese giant Huawei, but it is very possible that the entrepreneur's plans for the future have changed. As Huawei's CEO Ren Zhengfei admitted in an interview with The Economist, the entire 5G department of the Chinese manufacturer may be sold soon.

After a possible purchase of solutions, the new owner will be able to exclusively use patents or licenses up to now only owned by Huawei, which relate to 5G. Potential buyers are sought outside Asia, so there are many indications that the new buyer will be a Western company. Despite everything, it is unlikely that Huawei will be willing to sign a contract with companies from the United States because of the tense relations of the entrepreneur with the American government and this state of affairs certainly strongly influenced the decision of Huawei to sell the 5G department.
