Young musicians in the present times have many opportunities to arouse interest. Many of them publish their songs on YouTube or SoundCloud, but due to the number of recordings of all users on platforms it is very hard to catch the listeners' attention. This time, one of the largest streaming platforms, Spotify, wants to help these artists by launching new function dedicated to independent artists.

New beta feature allows artists for uploading their music without any costs. Previously musicians could have uploaded their songs to Spotify, but they had to do it through mediator or music label. Now adding music will be definitely easier and cheaper. Artists can also add covers of albums or other data about their music, and when all uploaded information will be checked by Spotify, then songs will be available for every Spotify's user. New function was added to Spotify for Artists platform, and currently it's in beta version so it's available only for artists in the USA, but surely function will be released also for another countries.
