Due to the fact that Instagram is a portal based mainly on the publication of photos, when we are out of reach of the Wi-Fi network often the application on our phone needs a significant part of our online data packet. It turns out that people responsible for the development of the mobile application of this portal are aware of this problem and that's why they will add a new option to the smartphone app for all users - data saving feature.
After enabling this feature in the settings of app, if you try to load a photo or videos in high resolution, the application will ask you if you want to do it using your data package. Application will allow you to enable one of three modes: canceling of download movies and photos in high definition each time, the mode displaying high quality media only with Wi-Fi connection and the last one, which will always show photos and videos regardless of the type of Internet connection. For now, this feature will be available only to users who have phones with Android system.
