The desktop version may soon gain a very important function - users are to be able to add new posts via a website opened on personal computers.
Currently, to add a new photo or video to Instagram, users must use the mobile version of the device. What's interesting, one of the mobile developers indicated on his Twitter account that Instagram is working hard on implementing the function of adding posts via the computer version of the website. The posting of photos itself is to be available through a similar post creator compared to the mobile version, which will allow, among other things, to mark other accounts, mark locations or apply filters. However, we do not know at the moment when this function will be finally implemented on Instagram.
