Android in 8.1 version brings a lot of new features, but surely Google will add more of them in the future. What's interesting, it looks that users found in .apk file some lines which mention about new option named "SMS Connect".
SMS Connect will allow us to integrate our text messages from phones with Google Chrome browser. After integration we even will have option of reply to text messages. However, it looks that option of integration will be available only for Pixel devices, and for beginning feature will integrate text messages only with Chromebook laptops. If all rumors will be confirmed, it's nearly sure that in future option will be available also for Google Chrome browsers on the rest of devices.
