Two days ago we informed that Xiaomi changed name of upcoming flagship device and it will be named Xiaomi Mi 8 instead of Xiaomi Mi 7 name. Firm decided to change it mainly because of its 8th anniversary of activity on market. This rumor was confirmed some hours ago by Xiaomi, and what's more we received official poster and information that Xiaomi Mi 8 will be formally presented on 31st of May.
For detailed information about specification of this device we need to wait some days, but nearly all people from Xiaomi's environment say that phone will have 6-inch display with FullHD+ resolution and notch on the top of screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, 4000mAh battery, 8mpx front camera and dual camera on back with two 16mpx sensors. Xiaomi Mi 8 probably will have many innovative options like in-display fingerprint scanner, face recognition option which will work in 3D and wireless charging.
