An official statement from the company appeared on the Internet confirming that Kevin Mayer is leaving TikTok only three months after establishing the cooperation.
The resignation from cooperation was made after noticing significant changes in the aspect of the company's policy, which caused Mayer himself to leave the company. Mayer's role probably changed as a result of TikTok's conflict with the US government. It is worth recalling that TikTok will probably sell its American branch to another company in the nearest future, which is very important to the US government. In such a case, TikTok will still face a restructuring and it is not known what role Mayer would ultimately be employed in. At the moment, everything indicates that Oracle will be the buyer of the American branch of TikTok, but the transaction hasn't been confirmed so far.
