For a long time we haven't noticed any innovative projects on the smartwatch market. We hope that upcoming LG's watch, LG Watch Timepiece, will bring some interesting ideas. According to the newest information this device will have its official premiere on 30th of April.
On the Internet appeared many rumors about potential look of this smartwatch. LG Watch Timepiece probably will be water-resistant device, which will be hybrid of smartwatch working on Wear OS (previously named Android Wear) with standard watch. Smartwatch will have steel body, and it will have also physical watch hands. The biggest advantage of this device will be life of battery, because LG says that LG Watch Timepiece will work up to 100 days after single charge, and even when battery will die smartwatch still will show time for about 4 days. Apart from battery smartwatch will have 1,2-inch display with 320x320px resolution, Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
