As you can see, since Facebook has platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, it gradually makes all these applications similar to each other. It is now possible to freely transfer content between these applications, and moreover, Stories can be created by both Messenger and Instagram users, and these are just a few examples of the similarities between the applications. There will be more of them over time, and the latest feature that is expected to hit WhatsApp is sharing responses to messages. Messenger already has a similar function, and as we mentioned it is also developed by Facebook.
So far, we do not know exactly how this feature will work in WhatsApp or what specific reactions we will be able to add to the received messages. We only know that this feature is tested in a small group of users, as a picture of the message displayed by the WhatsApp application was leaked to the Internet. It shows that the application informs the user about receiving a reaction to the message, but the user cannot see it due to the older version of the application installed on the phone. So we know that in order to receive the function of reactions to messages, it will be necessary to update the application and this change will not be applied (at least for now) on WhatsApp servers.
