Meta made big changes to WhatsApp, which were announced a few weeks ago. From now on, a new feature called Communities has debuted in the application, but also some changes have been made in the aspect of the functioning of group conversations.
Communities function is to be based on connecting people from the same environment, thanks to which it will be possible to create conversations on different topics within groups. With a view to transmitting important messages, a special area has also been created where it will be possible for moderators to post announcements displayed to all members of a given community. As for the changes to group conversations, from now on, the maximum limit of people who can participate in a conversation has been increased from 512 accounts to 1024 people. The limit of people participating in a video call has also been increased, and from now on, up to 32 people will be able to take part in such a call. Meta also took care of adding a new feature, which are special polls placed inside the conversation.
