Netflix still can boast a large customer base around the world. The company, however, feels more and more pressure from competing companies on the video streaming market and the main advantage of each platform is in fact proprietary productions available only on this specific platform. Netflix has gained many sympathizers by producing "Stranger Things" or obtaining the rights to publish "Money Heist" and with its own titles the company wants to encourage undecided customers to use the platform.
Netflix has officially made available for free access to several series and movies without the need to create an account. To watch any of the available productions, you just have to visit to a special page on the Netflix portal through a browser using a computer or Android phone (so far iOS is not supported). This is necessary as the service isn't available through the Netflix app. As a result, customers won't have access to the best possible video resolution. It is also worth noting that available movies ("Murder Mystery", "Bird Box" and "The Two Popes") are available entirely for free, while selected series ("Stranger Things", "Elite", "Boss Baby" , "When They See Us", "Love is Blind", "Our Planet" and "Grace and Frankie") are available in limited form - Netflix has only released the first episodes of these series for free.
