After the release of the Samsung Galaxy S20, negative reviews appeared on the market about the version of the phone working on Samsung's proprietary processor - Exynos 990. The phone in this version often got very hot, and in addition the processor was much weaker than its rival - Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, which was used in Samsung Galaxy S20 in some markets. Later, a new version of the phone called Galaxy S20 FE appeared on the market, equipped with a processor produced by Qualcomm, but this does not mean that Samsung gives up the production of proprietary processors.

We already officially know that the new processor from the Exynos series will be presented on 12th of January. It will be called Exynos 2100. This was officially confirmed by Samsung, but no more details were provided about the upcoming unit. However, we can assume that the new Samsung processor will be made in a 5nm technological process. The rival of the Exynos 2100 will of course be a new unit from Qualcomm - it will be Snapdragon 888.
