The crisis caused by coronavirus will make some serious troubles on market during upcoming months, but you can already see difficulties in maintaining the liquidity of many companies in various industries and the crisis also does not bypass smartphone manufacturers. OnePlus was forced to make some cuts among its employees.
Journalists report that the dismissals of OnePlus' employees relate mainly to the European market, namely three countries: The United Kingdom, France and Germany. It is said that in these countries even 80% of people employed so far could be dismissed and only a minimal amount was left to handle current operations in specific markets (minimum 3 people per market). Other markets, such as Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands and Belgium remain untouched, because OnePlus sees great potential in them and what's more - it looks like Helsinki will become the European center of OnePlus' replacing London.
