The character of Pablo Escobar, one of the biggest drug barons in history, was portrayed in the Narcos series promoted by Netflix. The network of his associates was created from people close to him, and the closest collaborators often turned out to be people from family of Pablo. One such person was his brother Roberto, who was Pablo's accountant at the time of his illegal activities. After death of Pablo and years spent in jail Roberto founded the company named Escobar Inc, which was registered as a company having access to use the image of Pablo Escobar. From now on, the company is expanding its portfolio with a foldable smartphone.

Foldable telephone created by Escobar Inc was named Escobar Fold 1 and its task is to compete with Samsung Galaxy Fold. The main advantages of Escobar Fold 1 definitely include the price and the exceptional durability of the screen promoted by the creators - Roberto Escobar claims that the screen was covered with a harder plastic than glass, which will provide greater security for the screen. The phone received a foldable screen with a 7.3-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1920x1444px, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB of internal memory, 16mpx and 20mpx cameras both on the front and back of the device and a 4000mAh battery. The phone will initially be released in the amount of 100 000 units and as we mentioned earlier it is available for really little money - the option with 128GB internal memory and 6GB RAM was priced at 349$, and the more powerful variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal memory will cost 499$. Admittedly, the prices are very attractive if we take into account that we are dealing with a foldable smartphone.
