Despite the fact that the Redmi K20 appeared on the market quite recently, the Redmi branch is already officially revealing some details from the specification of the upcoming successor of this device, which will be named Redmi K30. Xiaomi's Vice President Lu Weibing officially confirmed on Weibo website some changes that were previously rumored. We already know that the Redmi K30 will have a special notch in the corner of the screen with the intention of placing lenses from the front camera there (a similar solution was used by Samsung in its flagships), but that's not all. The company officially took a stand regarding support of 5G by Redmi K30.

Now we can officially say that the upcoming Redmi phone will support 5G. This will be possible thanks to the 7250 modem manufactured by Qualcomm. Redmi K30 will have its premiere in the coming year, but so far the manufacturers have not decided to determine in which part of year they are planning the official premiere of device. Certainly, before the official presentation of the smartphone, the bosses of the company will want to present some news about the specifications of their newest project.
